When Will wakes up he quickly checks himself and everything seems fine so he walks downstairs and stops, his clothes are gone.

And then he looks in the mirror and curses rather loudly,

Milliways, it seems, has a knack for causing strange transformations that make you miss the ones it did before. It's not particularly subtle about it, but it's hard to shave four feet of height off a person in a way that is subtle.

Today, there is a young man of the tall, gawkish variety on a couch... staring at a wall.

The wall happens to be totally blank and nondescript. It's only in Milliways that the anxious stare he's giving it makes sense in light of this.

Demeter is a bit more quiet today, the Bar has given her much to think about.

So she's on one of the couches in a simple green dress with no shoes, reading a French agricultural magazine as a pot of lavender tea sits nearby.

Rem sat at the bar writing furiously in a black notebook. From time-to-time, she stopped and consulted a large dusty book.

Rem is botherable.

Our scene opens on the familiar sight of the bar with a familiar chalkboard declaring it to be Happy Hour and listing the night's specials. Behind (or in one case on) the bar stand two familiar figures. Two very familiar figures. Who could probably not look more out of place if they tried.
